Andreas Kofler
Andreas Kofler is an architect-urbanist, writer, and curator. He has worked with offices such as Theo Deutinger, OMA/AMO (Rem Koolhaas), l’AUC, and Dominique Perrault, among others. Many of his projects are rooted in a multidisciplinary practice, including work on Greater Paris (DPA), Bordeaux 50 000 (l’AUC), collaborations for Prada (AMO), and the exhibition The Image of Europe (TD/AMO) for the European Union.
His curatorial projects include Japanese Architectures in Paris, 1867–2017 and the first exhibition dedicated to Armando Ronca, both accompanied by publications of the same name. Between 2018 and 2024, he was curator and deputy artistic director at the Swiss Architecture Museum (S AM), where he explored themes at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and society.
He is a regular contributor to L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui and an associate professor at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Versailles (ENSAV).
Tudor Vlăsceanu
Tudor Vlăsceanu (b. 1981) studied architecture at the Technical University of Cluj, the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, and Delft University of Technology.
From 2007, he worked at Rem Koolhaas’ OMA, and from 2009, he began developing his own projects, individually or through collaborations. Over the years, Tudor has lived and worked in Berlin, Oslo, Dubai, Rotterdam, and later Bucharest, where he co-founded Tegmark, a visualization company, and where, since 2020, he has led his own architectural practice.
His first completed project was the Romanian Pavilion at the 12th Venice Biennale, curated by Kazuyo Sejima, a competition won with the collective Unulaunu. Other significant works include House G – a rammed-earth residence near Bucharest, the New Urban Center for Triennale Milano, and the Embassy of Kuwait in Bucharest – all invited competitions; A Big Table – exhibition design for Romanian Design Week; and the extension of a school in Davos, Switzerland.
In 2022, Tudor completed a project for the headquarters of a tech company and the House with 4 Palms pavilion for the Concentrico Architecture Festival. In parallel, he has participated in numerous international exhibitions, publications, and workshops, and has been active in academia, teaching as a guest lecturer at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism, the University of Kassel, the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf, and Porto Academy.
